Course Complete

For those of you who don’t know, when I passed my Real Estate Test (back in 2007) it was a 45 hour course.  In June of 2008 they changed the law to require 75 hours.  Since I did not affiliate with an broker before they changed the law I was required to take the extra 30 hours.  I have been taking that online the past month and today I took the test to complete the course.  I am not sure what my actual score was but I passed the test.  Now all I have to do is mail it back to the DoS (Department of State).  So I should officially have my Real Estate License in a couple of weeks.  Below is a copy of the certificate:

So now that I will officially have my real estate license, if you or anyone you know is looking to buy or sell a home, your referral would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Back to school

Ok, so apparently they change NYS Law to require Real Estate Agents to take a 75 hour course in June 2008. Since I took the 45 hour course before they changed the law and did not associate myself (my own fault) with a broker, I need to take a 30 hour remedial course in order to get my license.  Luckily, I am able to take this course online, I just have to take the school test in person, which is not a big deal.  However, I did have to spend another 155 buck in order to do so.  :-\
